In Footsteps of Apostle Paul

Well, Paul didn't arrive in Malta as easily as we did, although as modern travel goes, it wasn't really that easy.

Starting out at 8am from our resort in North West England, we zoomed along the M40 (they really do zoom here... I was doing 70mph [about 120km] and a guy went past doing at least twice what I was) down to Oxford to return our hire car. What a blessing it was to have the little "Vauxhall Astra." We explored all the Lakes District and right into Scotland. Then it was off to catch the bus to Gatwick airport. A long wait for the flight and then finally into Malta at 2:30am Sunday. A big day.

Never mind, the great thing about being on holidays is that you get to rise when you want - bit like being youth pastor. We slept until 12:30pm and then set out to explore a bit of St Paul's Bay, Bugibba. It is quaint and different, if a little grubby. Tell you more tomorrow with some pics. Finished the day with a nice pizza (pizza's aren't fatty here).

youth pastor??!!
Hmmmmm........ I suspect "he" might try a payback for that one when you return. Good to see you relaxed.
